Procurement & Enterprise

The information serious buyers need before approval.

SyncCatalog is built for professional catalog and licensing operations. This page provides a starting point for IT, security, legal, finance and procurement teams evaluating the platform.

Who provides SyncCatalog?

SyncCatalog is commercially offered by Island Lake Ventures LLC. The platform is designed specifically for music catalog, licensing and related business operations.

Customers with vendor-registration, contracting or organizational documentation requirements can raise those requirements during the purchasing process.

How is the platform delivered?

SyncCatalog is delivered as a hosted software platform accessed through secure web connections. Organizations operate within their own platform environment and data is scoped to the appropriate organization.

Deployment requirements that fall outside the standard hosted model should be discussed during evaluation so technical feasibility and commercial requirements can be reviewed before purchase.

Security questions are part of procurement, not an afterthought.

SyncCatalog uses HTTPS, tenant-scoped application access, role-based authorization, secure session controls, security headers, backup monitoring and automated tests covering security-sensitive workflows.

Organizations with security questionnaires, technical review requirements or internal vendor-assessment processes can discuss those requirements directly during evaluation.

Customer data remains customer business information.

Music, metadata, rights information, client information and other customer-supplied business records remain customer content. SyncCatalog provides the operating platform used to organize and manage that information.

Organizations with specific retention, export, governance or contractual requirements should identify those requirements during procurement so they can be addressed explicitly.

Access is based on organization and role.

SyncCatalog uses organization-scoped data access and role-based authorization to separate customer environments and control which functions individual users can access.

Public-facing catalog, submission and external workflow features are separate from internal team access and can be configured according to the organization's operating model.

Procurement should include a plan for getting operational.

Implementation can include discovery, data assessment, field mapping, migration, organization configuration, validation, staff onboarding and go-live support.

Migration scope depends on the condition and structure of the customer's existing catalog, source systems and business workflows.

Support expectations should be clear before deployment.

SyncCatalog provides platform support and a public Support Center. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Organizations with additional support requirements should discuss those requirements during evaluation or contracting.

Larger purchases may require more than a credit card.

SyncCatalog supports a direct sales and evaluation process for organizations that need internal approval before deployment. Commercial terms depend on the selected product, services and customer requirements.

Contract, invoicing, implementation and other purchasing details can be reviewed directly with qualified organizations.

Need documentation before your team can approve the purchase?

Procurement teams may request information related to company identity, product scope, security approach, implementation, operational support and commercial terms.

SyncCatalog will not claim certifications, controls or contractual commitments that have not actually been established. Requirements are reviewed directly so both sides understand what is being agreed.

Evaluate the platform before committing to deployment.

Qualified organizations can use the SyncCatalog evaluation process to review platform fit, workflows and operational requirements before beginning production implementation.

Evaluation is intended to answer whether SyncCatalog fits the organization. Production migration and rollout begin after the purchasing decision.

Have requirements that are not covered on the public site?

Larger organizations may have requirements involving security, legal review, deployment, data governance, procurement, support, integrations or internal approval procedures.

Bring those requirements into the evaluation process early. That allows SyncCatalog to determine what can be supported, what requires additional scope and what should not be promised.
